Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
