AC Shadows Unveils Bizarre AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that breaks conventional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the authorized announcement, "A strange confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of forbidden rituals and fearsome changes echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine sect.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Additional Material
Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an unique katana alongside several artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This release also introduces the game's third free story content, titled "A Puzzlement."
